The Granite Way

A spectacular cycle route through Devon, known as the Granite Way, runs near by the Fox and Hounds. It is mostly traffic-free following the trackway of a former railway line for the most part. The 11 mile ride offers super views over the moor, crossing two viaducts, as it winds it way along the North West edge of Dartmoor from Okehampton to Lydford.

Bicycles, with a range of sizes, are available for hire from The Fox and Hounds Hotel to go cycling for the day. Alternatively, we are an excellant spot to stop by on your way through.
