How to find us |
We are located on the western edge of Dartmoor
National Park, Devon, UK. Although within the national park with only moorland
behind us we are on the main A386 road, which connects Okehampton and
Tavistock. From the A30 dual carriageway you turn off after Okehampton onto the
A386 signposted for Tavistock and Plymouth. You will then drive through the
small village of Sourton. We are to be found a short distance on from Sourton
at the junction with Bridestowe (although we are in fact two miles distance
from the village of Bridestowe). If you have gone as far as the Lydford
junction then you have travelled too far.
There is a bus stop right outside the Fox and Hounds Hotel. The number 86 bus provides
an hourly service every day (reduced for Sundays). It connects
Barnstaple - Hatherleigh - Okehampton - Fox & Hounds Hotel - Lydford
- Tavistock - Plymouth
In addition the 187 and 118 buses run special services on Sundays and on public
holidays.
